Sarah, a new member, has agreed to share her first impressions of Writrs.com with us.

Hi Sarah, tell us a little about yourself, what are you studying?

I am a second year Arts student, taking English literature and history.

What do you like about Writrs.com?

Well, I only discovered Writrs.com quite recently but since I have been a member I have noticed how quickly the site is developing. There are more and more documents available, covering a really diverse range of subjects. I like the fact that members who download my work can leave a comment, it’s always useful to have an outside opinion and certain remarks have helped me improve my style or approach a subject differently. I want to concentrate on my coursework, so for me Writrs.com is a great way to earn some extra money that doesn’t involve having to take time out from my studies.

How did you hear about Writrs.com?

A friend who was already a member sent me an invitation. She was really excited when she sold her first document!

How many documents have you published with us?

For the moment I have 7 documents online. I’ve got literature reviews, some critical analysis and two documents about the First World War.

How much have you earned so far?

I have earned €8 so far, but I have submitted 5 new documents to the reading committee so hopefully when they are published I will be able to increase my earnings. I have set my payment threshold quite high so that I when I get paid I can look forward to treating myself to something nice!

What else would you like to see on Writrs.com? Have you got any suggestions for us?

I think it would be great to offer members the possibility of posting links to their blogs from the author profile page, lots of students have their own blogs dealing with specific themes, subjects or research projects. People visiting the blogs would also discover Writrs.com and could submit some of their own work too.
